JERA and Corio (GIG at the time) have already partnered in Taiwan on the Formosa 1 and Formosa 2 offshore wind projects, now in operation and under construction, respectively.

JERA joined the Formosa 3 project in 2020 after reaching an agreement with GIG and EnBW and acquiring 43.75 per cent of the project.
