This is also the first SG 11.0-200 DD unit to be installed offshore and the largest and most powerful wind turbine to be installed on an offshore wind farm.

Once all of the 140 wind turbines are installed and commissioned in the summer of 2023, Hollandse Kust Zuid will also become the world’s largest offshore wind farm in operation.

The wind turbines are being transported from Sif’s facility at Maasvlakte 2 in the Port of Rotterdam and installed at the site some 20 kilometres off the Dutch province of Zuid-Holland by Cadeler’s wind turbine installation vessel – Wind Osprey.
