The contract covers the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of a main automation system (MAS), including generator block controllers and the station automation system controllers, communication system and integration of the WTG-controller and all their auxiliary control and protection systems.

The contract will run from 1 October 2021 to the end of 2025 and is subject to renewals.

Interested parties have until 26 February to respond to the contract notice.

He Dreiht is located within the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the North Sea, about 85 kilometres north of the island Borkum and 95 kilometres west of the island Helgoland.

EnBW secured rights to develop the 900 MW project by placing a zero-subsidy bid in the first competitive tender in Germany back in April 2017.

The wind farm is scheduled to be operational by 2025.
