ORE Catapult Looking for O&M Services for National Offshore Anemometry Hub

Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult has issued a call for tenders for operation and maintenance (O&M) services at the National Offshore Anemometry Hub (NOAH).

The work scope will also include supporting research and development (R&D) projects and activities at the National Offshore Anemometry Hub and surrounding consented area.

A contract, valued at EUR 1.25 million, will be signed for an initial period of three years, starting on 1 October, and will have an extension option to for a further period of up to two years.

Deadline for submission of tenders is 18 August.

The offshore anemometry hub is installed three nautical miles off Blyth, Northumberland.

NOAH provides wind resource and environmental data to validate turbine demonstrations with the instrumentation and data management capability to be made available for future research collaborations.
