The tender covers planning, production, delivery, installation, commissioning, trial operation and documentation of the wind turbines including wind farm SCADA and service contract.

The wind turbine type used should have the capacity of at least 7MW, the developer said.

The final order is dependant on legal framework conditions, permits, the network connection, as well as the investment decision.

The contract is scheduled for mid-2021, and the commissioning of the turbines is expected to take place by 2025 at the latest.

The tender remains open until 5 February 2020.

He Dreiht is located within the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the North Sea, about 85 kilometres north of the island Borkum and 95 kilometres west of the island Helgoland.

In April 2017, EnBW secured rights to develop the 900MW project by placing a zero-subsidy bid in the first competitive tender in Germany.
