Esvagt

Esvagt Dana entered into the contract with Vattenfall mid-February, Esvagt said. The contract is described as ”short-term”  compared to the type of long-term charters Esvagt’s other SOVs are servicing.

Esvagt did not reveal the exact duration or any additional details on the type of contract.

The Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm comprises a total of 49 MHI Vestas V164-8.3 MW turbines installed at the site 25-40km west of Houstrup Strand on the Danish west coast. The final turbine was installed in January 2019. The wind farm delivered its first power at the end of December 2018.

Once commissioned later this year, Horns Rev 3 will become the largest offshore wind farm in Danish waters.
