E.ON Reshuffles Management Board

Germany-headquartered energy company E.ON has appointed Anja Dotzenrath as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of E.ON Climate & Renewables and Michael Lewis, the current CEO of the company’s renewables division, as the new CEO of E.ON UK.

Dotzenrath, currently COO at the Essen-headquartered E.ON Climate & Renewables, will become its CEO on 10 April. She joined E.ON in 2011 as Managing Director of E.ON In-house Consulting after a career in in the energy and chemical industry and top management consulting.

Leo Birnbaum, E.ON board member, said: “I’d like to congratulate Anja Dotzenrath on her new leadership role. Her energy and deep knowledge of the renewables business will be crucial for the next phase of this business’s development.”

Lewis will also assume his new position on 1o April. He will succeed Tony Cocker, who has decided to retire from E.ON to pursue a portfolio career at end of July 2017.

Lewis has been CEO of E.ON Climate & Renewables since 2015. He joined E.ON in the United Kingdom in 1993 and has played an instrumental role in expanding E.ON’s renewables business, the company said.
