CCCC Bags Another Offshore Wind Deal

CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has recently won the bid for Phase 2 of the Shanghai Lingang offshore wind project with a contract value of some 478 million yuan (approx. EUR 67 million) and a construction period of 430 days.

Located in the eastern waters of the Nanhui beach in Shanghai, the project comprises 28 wind turbines, a met mast and submarine cables.

CCCC said the project is the result of responding to the call of the central government for “initiating a group of major clean energy projects” and ensuring the “stable growth” of the economy.

After its completion, the project will further improve Shanghai’s power supply conditions and play a significant role in ensuring the stability of power network in Shanghai and its neighboring areas, the company concluded.
