Envision Energy Strengthens Its EMEA Position

Envision Energy has announced the appointment of John Childs as Head of Turbine Business Development in Europe, Middle East Africa (EMEA) markets.

Childs will be based in the company’s Global Innovation Center in Denmark.

To continue expand to international markets is key to our growth, and Europe is definitely a focus,“ says Felix Zhang, Executive Director of Envision Energy. “John’s extensive knowledge and experience in the wind industry will be a tremendous help for our global business expansion.”

Childs has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience and over 8 years in the wind energy sector. Prior to joining Envision, he served as Head of Construction at EMEA & APAC Siemens Wind Power as well as SVP Sales and Marketing at Vestas Northern Europe.
