OWI-Lab's Researcher Becomes Member of TP Wind Platform

One of OWI-Lab's researchers Dr. Ir. Jan Helsen has became a member of the TP Wind Platform, Working Group 2 - Wind Power Systems.

OWI-Lab's Researcher Becomes Member of TP Wind Platform

This Working Group focuses on aspects enabling costs reductions on the wind turbine side (onshore and offshore). Key areas in this subject may include: materials, drive-trains, blades, O&M and wind turbine design and efficiency increase.

A Working Group is composed of a small number of high-level persons willing to participate to the work of the Technology Platform. Working Groups members are selected from a call of expression of interest launched by the Secretariat. Selection is performed by the Steering Committee based on objective criteria.
