VIDEO: Switch Presents 8.6 MW Generator

The Switch recently announced their new PMG8600-400, a medium-speed permanent magnet generator with a power rating of 8.6 MW.

The generator features outstanding drive train availability and system efficiency, as well as high reliability.

Their 8.6 MW permanent magnet generator (PMG) for offshore use successfully passed initial no-load testing earlier this month.
