UK: Trump to Fight EOWDC in Courts
The Trump Organisation executive vice president George Sorial has confirmed that Donald Trump will stop the proposed European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre (EOWDC) from being built close to his golf resort by filing an appeal to any approval of the project.
“It will be many years before we have exhausted the appeals process, which we will certainly do,” Mr. Sorial is cited by Bloomberg.
He also expressed confidence that turbines will never be built there, because Mr. Trump intends to take his fight to the London courts, if he fails to stop the development in Scotland.
In December, Donald Trump revealed that he could delay the offshore wind project for a decade through legal fights.
