TenneT in Talks for New Investments in German Energy Shift

TenneT is gearing up with its investment plans regarding German energy shift to renewables, as the company is currently in talks with more investors.

The grid operator intends to cooperate with further investors after the deal with Mitsubishi “broke the ice”, Martin Fuchs, head of TenneT TSO GmbH told Reuters.

Deal volume in cooperation with new investors would be comparable to the one with Mitsubishi, which announced a few days ago that it is investing EUR 576 million in four German grid connection projects.

TenneT expects to achieve new cooperation agreements in the coming months.
