Former Dong's CEO Appointed Chairman of Offshore Center Denmark

DONG Energy’s former CEO, Anders Eldrup, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Danish knowledge center for the offshore sector, Offshore Center Denmark.

“The appointment of Anders Eldrup is the latest result of a determined effort to strengthen Offshore Centre Denmark’s role as a national center for oil-gas and renewable energy. The sector is experiencing an incredible success, and as a national center of excellence and innovation networks, it is important that we keep pace with the industry,” says Offshore Center Denmark Acting Chairman Ernst Tiedemann.

“Anders Eldrup has for many years been one of the energy sector’s absolute figureheads, and his name and skills as a business leader is recognized internationally. While he comes from an energy company with activities in both the offshore and oil and gas production and thus helps to emphasize that Offshore Center Denmark is working equally in both areas,” continues Tiedemann.
