Denmark: Top HSE Managers to Attend Offshore Wind Health and Safety Summit

It is now three weeks until the leading offshore wind health and safety industry event. The Offshore Wind Health and Safety Summit, taking place in Copenhagen on the 5-6th December, is selling out fast.

Last week they saw a surge in bookings and numbers have now reached over 60! The top health and safety executives will be in attendance at the only industry event that is designed to improve the offshore wind industry’s safety culture and reduce the amount of incidents of offshore projects.

The conference will be focusing on access options, emergency response, regulation harmonisation and training. There will be an increased focus on safety culture which will help you to reduce the frequency of HSE incidents offshore. This year’s summit has attracted some of the leaders in offshore wind health and safety including Claus Rose, Head of EHS from Siemens Wind Power and also the chairman of the GWO who will speak on “What is the right training for your team?” Also speaking at the event is Roland Gutbrod, Senior Manager HSSE & Quality from RWE Innogy who will discuss “Behind the scene HSE talks at RWE”. To compliment these great speakers they also have Statoil, Mainstream Renewables, RES Offshore, DONG Energy, Vestas and Gamesa who will be participating as speakers and panellists.
