Poland: Sopot to Host Offshore Conference and Exhibition

On 10-11 October 2012, at the Sheraton Hotel in Sopot the Offshore Conference and Exhibition will be held – Poland’s first event of this scale entirely dedicated to offshore wind energy.

Offshore Conference and Exhibition is organized by Polish Wind Energy Association in cooperation with the Polish Offshore Wind Energy Society.

Offshore wind energy is not just wind turbines, but also the construction of towers and artificial islands, specialized vessels production and transmission network elements. This is an opportunity not only for the Polish shipbuilding industry and ports, but also for the whole Polish economy. Participants of Offshore Conference and Exhibition will be able to find out how Polish companies can benefit from the development of offshore wind energy.
