SDE Sells USD 1.2 Million Wave Power Plant to China

SDE has signed an export agreement to sell sea wave power plants for a total sum of 1.2 million U.S. Dollars.

SDE is in the final stages of building the second power plant in a series of 3 power plants that will be built on Chinese soil. The deal that SDE signed with their local partners is worth a total of 1.2 million dollars.

The 150 kW sea wave power plants will be installed in the province of Guangzhou, in the city of Dong Ping. The power plant will be manufactured in Israel, except the buoys part of the system that will be assembled in China. The third model will be a 500Kw power plant that will be executed in Guangzhou in the nearest future.

This 150 Kw power plant would be the 12th power plant SDE is constructing over all, and the 2ed one that will be assembled in China. The Company also has a large module of its unique system in its factory in Israel that stimulates wave movement and electricity production using a hydro-pneumatic system.

The company has started 16 years ago, by the inventor of the system and acting CEO of the company today, Mr. Shmuel Ovadia. Ever since it was founded, SDE has built 11 power plants of its unique technology, and has established 11 JV with local partners around the world, including in countries such as: Chile, Mexico, Tanzania, Kenya, and of course China.

Until this day, Investors has invested in the company more than 2.5 million dollars, and this days the company is signing more agreements.

SDE has a unique invention for generating electricity from sea waves and was recently ranked by a team of independent scientists on PESWiki, as the world’s first technology for electricity from sea wavesand between 100 of the world’s leading green technology companies. The Technology advantages include Storm resistance (the system is only 10% on waters, and 90% on land), low productions costs of only 2 cents per kw/h, full Utilization of wave energy, from coming and returning tidal and more.

In the last few years we are witnessing a significant rise in demand for green and renovated energy. In light of global warming, desertification, floods and other disasters, all around the world people have come to understand that we can no longer continue producing energy by contaminating the environment and that there’s an urgent and essential need to develop sustainable alternatives.

There is a special need for sustainable energy alternatives, in light of the death of thousands every year, due to Fuel burning and ect’. Only just recently, India was almost completely paralyzed due to the biggest power shortage in history that influenced about 600 million people that were left without electricity. Flights were canceled, and giant traffic jams occurred all over India.

China has a great necessity in the fast implementation of SDE’s sea wave power technology due to the high rates of pollution in the country. In fact, according to “Time” Magazine, the Chinese cities Linfen and Tianying are the two world’s most polluted cities, and the World Bank has reported that 16 out of 20 most polluted cities in the world are Chinese. Chinese cities often seem wrapped in a toxic gray shroud. Apparently, only one percent of the country’s 560 million city dwellers breathe air considered safe by the European Union.

Currently, the Government has numerical targets for reducing emissions and conserving energy, and major initiatives are on the way to develop clean energy sources, like solar, wind and sea wave energy.

As a result, SDE’s sea wave power technology is the perfect solution to China’s problems; it will provide China with clean and cost-efficient source of energy, which will minimize the pollution ranks in the country, while not harming the steady economic and industrial growth of the country.

SDE Is being constantly approached from governments and electric companies worldwide, which are interested in SDE’S sea wave power plants, as a clean, reliable source of energy.
