Anholt Offshore Wind Farm Exhibition Opens in Grenaa, Denmark

The exhibition on Anholt Offshore Wind Farm, DjursWindGlobe, officially opened on 25 June where Project Director Flemming Thomsen represented DONG Energy and participated in the official opening of the exhibition. In his opening speech, he pointed out the importance of the local cooperation and told that the construction of Anholt Offshore Wind Farm is proceeding as planned.

DjursWindGlobe is a digital exhibition on Anholt Offshore Wind Farm. The exhibition is located at the Kattegatcentret in Grenaa and starts in a globe-shaped tent outside the Kattegatcentret. There is general tourist information about Djursland inside the globe from where the exhibition continues in the Kattegatcentret.

The architectural firm Kollision Design Office from Aarhus has designed and built the exhibition that combines film and game elements with hands-on experience.

DjursWindGlobe is relevant for all curious people who are interested in learning more about both the technical elements, the human know-how and the social aspect in the construction of an offshore wind farm.

The exhibition is tailor-made for interaction through playing and learning and appeals to both children and adults who would like to know the stories about the adventure and achievement it is to build and operate an offshore wind farm.
