Vattenfall Expands Into New London Office (UK)

The Vattenfall team in London is expanding its UK operations by moving into a brand new office on commercially buzzing Tudor Street.

The move comes as the 50/50 joint venture between Vattenfall and UK energy company Scottish Power Renewables enters a new phase.

“Our bold plan to develop the world’s largest off shore wind farm off the coast of East Anglia highlights our aspirations for growth in the UK marketplace” says David Hodkinson, Vattenfall’s UK Country Manager and Director of the East Anglia Project. “Our new London offices will be the centre of this project’s development, engineering expertise and procurement activities.”

One floor in the 3 000-square-metre office building will be occupied by around 40 Vattenfall employees. A third floor will function as a joint project floor, enabling the joint venture partners to work more closely together and better facilitate the project’s development.

“We’ve been in temporary offices for the past two months after having moved from our previous Pall Mall address to Victoria, so this is a much-anticipated and needed move. With our new set up we are much better placed to fully exploit new opportunities for Vattenfall in the UK. It’s a great location, we are only two metro stops from the UK Parliament and Department of Energy and Climate Change.”” Hodkinson says.

The new address is from October 3:

Vattenfall, First floor, 1 Tudor Street, London EC4 Y0AH, UK.
