According to OMM, the FWA extension builds on the support that the company provided to Prysmian across the European market since September 2015, when a three-year-long agreement was signed.

The long-term cooperation has seen OMM utilize its new multi-mattress deployment system MDS3 alongisde additional subsea support, vessel management, tower support services and cable storage.

OMM has completed a number of projects under the FWA, including BorWin3 and CoBrA route clearance, Wikinger and DolWin3 platform operational works, and multiple vessel management and cable storage services.

The new boulder clearance project is due to commence in Q4 2017 in the West Adlergrunde cluster, the company said.

“To finalise another agreement with Prysmian and with options to extend the services and entities it covers is a real testament to the work we do at OMM,” John Lawton, Director at OMM, said.

“We have an excellent track-record collaborating with Prysmian and we look forward to further developing the relationship over the coming years in support of their offshore operations.”
