The Netherlands Offshore Energy 2013 Kicks Off

Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference 2013 has officially began this morning at 09.30 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Taking place for the sixth time, Offshore Energy continues with the steady growth with over 500 offshore companies showcasing their products.

During the opening ceremony the key-note speech was given by Ko Colijn, General Director of Clingendael, who touched upon the current events around Syria and the Middle East along with the actual and expected political consequences of the conflict related to (geo) politics impact on the (offshore) oil and gas industry.

This year’s exhibition will also include pavilions from Maritime by Holland, Den Helder and China.

Hot topics will be covered at the event such as the market outlook, North Sea exploration and production, opportunities in East Africa as well as the human capital.

Offshore Energy is expected to spark the interest of over 8,500 visitors from the sector.
