'Offshore Wind Operations/Science Meets Industry' Conference to Be Held in Norway

Registration for Offshore Wind Operations/Science Meets Industry 2013 in Bergen (Norway) is now open.

The conference attendees will have an opportunity to hear about experiences from installation and start-up of the Sheringham Shoal offshore wind farm, as well as about cable installation projects that Reef Subsea Power & Umbilical worked on.

Fred. Olsen Windcarrier will talk about its lessons learned from recent WTG installations and Aker Solutions will present a continuous hydraulic jacking system customized for High Performance Turbine Installation Vessel (HPTIV).

Also, those who will attend this event will hear more about decision support for installation of offshore wind turbines, power prediction and trading information system for offshore wind farms, the potential of remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) for wind energy related measurements, main challenges for British offshore wind energy and offshore wind energy in Norwegian waters.

The conference will take place at Hotel Grand Terminus, Zander Kaaes gt. 6 in Bergen on Tuesday, September 10, and is hosted by Arena NOW and NORCOWE.
