Four European Countries Eye Chinese Offshore Wind

A joint initiative of wind energy cluster organizations and industry partners in Poland, Germany, Norway and Denmark have invited suppliers to the offshore wind industry from the four countries to a delegation trip to China with a focus on offshore topics from October 12 to 25, 2015.

The objective is to tap into Chinese offshore wind opportunities and learn about the emerging market of offshore wind in China. Furthermore, those who participate will have a chance to meet key players and offer their products and services to Chinese companies.

The Kiel-based wind energy competence center CE WindEnergy SH, the German partner of the team, said: “New feed-in tariffs for offshore wind energy implemented in China during 2014 and ambitious offshore installation targets for 2020 provide great opportunities for European companies to offer products and services to the Chinese market.”
