    Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy came in first on the world’s top wind turbine manufacturers list in 2017 and overtook the spot Vestas had been holding, according to the latest report from GlobalData. At the end of the last year, Siemens Gamesa had 9.43GW of installed wind turbines, while Vestas held 7.52GW, accounting for 18% and 14.3% market share, respectively.
