Nass&Wind, OFS Partner Up on Floating Wind

French companies Nass&Wind Industrie, a subsidiary of Nass&Wind Group, and Offshore Foundation Solutions (OFS) have signed an agreement under which the companies will cooperate to develop concrete floating offshore wind platforms.

The partnership was initiated in early 2015 with an aim to unite the expertise of Nass&Wind in floating offshore wind and OFS in the design of offshore concrete structures, French media writes. By signing the cooperation agreement, the two companies will jointly provide their engineering services and expertise to project developers who want to install wind turbines on concrete floating structures.

With the launch of the call for the development of pilot floating wind farms off the French coast in August, Nass&Wind Industrie and OFS intend to become strategic players in the offshore engineering of floating concrete structures, according to Le Journal des entreprises.
