JECS Offshore Shows What It’s Got at Gode Wind

Some of the access equipment set up at the Gode Wind 1 and 2 offshore wind farms has recently deemed not fit for purpose by the Health & Safety team at DONG Energy, after which the developer contacted JECS Offshore with a request for scaffolding materials and two teams of scaffolders to work in shifts so that they would have a team offshore 24 hours a day.

JECS reported that within 4 hours of receiving the request, it had a designated site manager on site in Norddiech preparing the safety documentation and arranging for materials to be sent from their depot in the UK.

The first team was at the offshore site within 8 hours from receiving the call and scaffolding materials were delivered within 14 hours from receiving the call.

The company announced this morning that, as a result of its efforts, JECS has now secured orders on the project from NEXANS, ABB, TenneT and DONG Energy.
