NOF Expands Its Supplier Day Event
NOF Energy has expanded it sold-out annual supplier day to feature an extended networking session to offer companies the chance to engage key companies from the energy sector supply chain.
The Annual Supplier Day, which takes place on Wednesday, June 25, at Hardwick Hall, in Sedgefield, County Durham, offers suppliers the opportunity to meet and sell to major industry purchasers in scheduled, 15-minute time slots.
Always a popular event, the sessions were quickly booked up, which has led to NOF Energy opening up the afternoon session between 2pm and 4.30pm to enable more businesses to network with the companies, which include North East-based OGN Group, Heerema Fabrication Group and Wilton Engineering.
Other confirmed buyers at the event also include SNC-Lavalin, WorleyParsons, Hertel, BEL Valves, Flexible Engineered Solutions, AREVA, JDR Cables, Reef Subsea Integrated Projects and A&P Group.
The networking session will take place in the event’s exhibition area, which will provide an ideal opportunity for attendees to engage with new suppliers and customers.
The event has been organised by NOF Energy, the business development organisation for oil & gas, nuclear and offshore renewables sectors, to give smaller suppliers the chance to do business with some of the region’s most established energy companies. It is sponsored by Allied International, AKD Engineering and Cellular Solutions.
Each supplier will get to select the companies they would like to meet in order of preference a week before the event, to allow NOF Energy to matching each supplier with five buyers. Appointments will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and can be booked now.
Caroline Lofthouse, Business Development Manager at NOF Energy, said: “Our annual supplier day is one of the most popular in our calendar of events. It offers direct access to key purchasers and therefore attracts considerable interest from suppliers.
“Therefore in addition to the scheduled appointments, we are opening up the afternoon session for general networking, which will provide more opportunities for a larger number of our members to get involved in the day.”
