    The high-voltage activities acquired from ABB have driven an increase in NKT’s Q3 2017 revenue, which was at EUR 303.2 million, EUR 106.9 million more than in Q3 2016. Looking at the first nine months, NKT posted a revenue of EUR 776.5 million, compared with EUR 559.7 million reported for the same period in 2016.

  • RWE Innogy awards contract for offshore sea cable to ABB (Germany)

    RWE Innogy and ABB have today signed a contract for delivery of underwater cable for the offshore wind farm “Nordsee Ost”. In total, ABB will supply around 63 kilometres of sea cable. They will be used to network the 48 wind turbines of the wind farm with one another and connect them to an offshore transformer station. The undersea cable will be produced by an ABB subsidiary in Sweden. The contract is valued at around EUR 10 million.
