Foundations, substructures and installation techniques have been identified within the ORE Catapult ‘Knowledge Areas’ – areas in which we believe the industry must focus their efforts on to drive down the cost of offshore renewable energy. Recognising this industry issue, the Catapult’s National Renewable Energy Centre in Blyth is hosting a free, open seminar to discuss the various aspects associated with subsea installation technology such as cable damage, protection systems, underwater vehicles and installation techniques as well as the latest technology innovations in order to achieve these reductions.
