The new contract has been signed for 21 days, plus options, and will “fill the gap” until Stril Server starts its next walk-to-work project for VBMS in mid-August.

According to a Notice to Mariners recently issued by the Beatrice marine coordination team, Stril Server has mobilised on 3 July to replace Siem Aimery, which had been on site acting as an accommodation vessel for Siem Offshore Contractors technicians, who have been carrying out testing and remedial works on various strings of the inter-array cable infrastructure.

Siem Aimery left site on 2 July to demobilise in Peterhead and sail for Hartlepool to load cable for the next inter-array cable installation campaign.
