Blue Water Shipping Reports Higher Turnover in 2014

The significant growth continues for Blue Water Shipping, the company announced today, reporting that annual accounts for 2014 show an 11 per cent increase in turnover and an increase of 80 per cent on the bottom line compared to 2013.

The total turnover for 2014 was DKK 4,980 bn (EUR 669 million).

The company said: “We are in particular satisfied with the result of DKK 63 million which is a significant increase of 80 per cent compared to the result of DKK 35 million in 2013. The result for 2013 reflected increased investments in the organisation in preparation for the growth of the coming years whereas the 2014 result reflects the utilization of our strengthened set-up.

“In connection with other major objectives for the next 1-2 years, the important thing is to increase our market shares in Norway, Sweden and Finland, where we in recent years have intensified our efforts through an increase in investments and acquisitions.

Blue Water Shipping said that it will focus on the global development of its core business areas: Oil, Wind and Project Transport, and particularly to win new clients within general Road, Sea and Air Freight.
