Germany Windreich Insolvency Goes into Regulated Procedure

The management of Windreich GmbH has withdrawn the application for insolvency in self-administration on 22 November 2013.

The local court in Esslingen then placed the provisional insolvency in the control system and provisional administrator Holger Blümle, from the law firm Schultze & Braun, as liquidator. Werner Heer will continue as managing director of Windreich GmbH. The opening of insolvency proceedings is expected in late November.

The management has asked for four other subsidiaries to file for insolvency.

“Even though we no longer expect the financial closing for MEG 1 this year, we continue to work with high pressure and join forces to bring this project to a successful conclusion,” said Holger Blümle.
