UK: Delays on Jersey Met Mast

Concerns were raised regarding the monitoring mast offshore Jersey coast, writes BBC.

Namely, the 9 meter mast is supposed to measure the wind speeds during the two-year project.

The installation work has been postponed while the consultations are being held.

Willie Peggie, director of the Environment Department, “We’ve got perhaps a fair way to go as yet because we want to try and iron out as many problems and challenges as possible.”
