UK: GMS Endeavour Installs Half of Turbines at Sheringham Shoal

GMS self propelled jack up barge Endeavour erects 44th wind turbine out of the 88 turbine offshore project with Scira at Sheringham Shoal.

In December 2010, GMS has been awarded a contract by Scira Offshore Energy Limited (Scira) for wind turbine installation works in connection with the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm development. GMS has mobilise GMS Endeavour to the Southern North Sea during Q1 2011 to commence this work.

Scira is a company owned 50/50 by Statoil and Statkraft of Norway.

Endeavour will be employed on the project until completion in the summer of 2012.
