Teenagers to Design Navitus Bay Wind Park Logo (UK)

Eneco is asking teenagers for their help in designing a visual identity for the proposed Navitus Bay Wind Park.

They are encouraging talented young artists and designers from across Dorset, the New Forest and on the Isle of Wight to use their artistic skills to good effect by submitting a logo which they feel best represents the project.

Anyone between the ages of 15 and 18 across the three regions are eligible to take part. The winning design will be selected as the logo for Navitus Bay throughout the lifetime of the project and be a great start to the portfolio of a budding designer or artist.

The proposed Eneco wind park is located off the Dorset and Hampshire coast and to the west of the Isle of Wight. It covers an area of approximately 723 km2 with the water depth ranges from 20 to 50 metres.

The wind farm could have capacity between 900MW and 1200MW which is enough power to supply between up to 820,000 home.
