The regulations adopted in the first half of the year – the so-called Distance Act and the amendment to the Renewable Energy Sources Act – fundamentally changed the operating conditions for wind farms in Poland and created new challenges for their owners.
The collapse of the green certificates market, threat of the real property tax, the end of the ERO price, increasing market access costs (profile cost, balancing cost) lead to a situation where in the next months many companies from the wind energy sector may face issues with regulating current liabilities towards banks.
Given the problems currently faced by the industry, the Polish Wind Energy Association team together with the wind energy experts invite you to participate in a seminar, whose aim is to indicate where to seek reserves.
The seminar will discuss: possibilities to defend from the increased real property tax; methods to avoid obligated vendor’s monopoly when the ERO price is in force and how to prepare for the market without the ERO price; schemes for the settlement of the sales of electricity to obligated vendors from 1 July 2016 and actual balancing costs in accordance with the interpretation of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. Our experts will demonstrate how to optimise wind farm operating costs by using asset management outsourcing and how to decrease O&M costs by engaging independent service providers. An interesting issue to be discussed will be the opportunities to restructure wind farm debt.
Limited places available! Join us during the seminar!
