Subsea Technological Challenges in Offshore Wind detail page

The National Subsea Research Initiative (NSRI) is working with the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult to tackle the subsea technology challenges facing the offshore wind industry. In doing so the ORE Catapult has lent its voice to the NSRI Matchmaker database with industry led, technology themes for offshore wind to complement the existing oil and gas offering. The agreed themes are:

• Cables / Electrical Infrastructure
• Environmental Conditions
• Installation
• Operations & Maintenance
• Sub-Structures & Foundations
