Ports for Offshore Wind Power Installation & Maintenance Conference detail page

There is an urgent need for specifically adapted ports (deep water, reinforced quaysides, large storage areas, suitable space for moving) to support the development of the offshore wind power sector.

Investment from public and private sectors is necessary to scale up this special area of the supply chain to help push the wind power sector. Port and harbour structures must be available in sufficient quantities.
