New Jersey Offshore Wind Energy Forum detail page

This forum, being held by Environment New Jeresy and the Stockton University Sustainability Trust, is open to the general public as well Stockton students, faculty, and staff. This forum comes after the US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s recent sale of two leases for offshore wind energy development in New Jeresy waters to RES Americas and US Wind Inc., as well as Fishermen’s Energy continues its efforts to develop a 5-turbine wind farm off the coast of Atlantic City. The topics of discussion will be on the development plans for each developer, the opportunities for New Jersey to become a leader of an offshore wind energy industry, and on the economic market created for this industry through the introduction of an offshore wind renewable energy credit (OREC) system.
