The course introduces the participants to Sesam Marine for simulation of marine operations, heavy lifting, side-by-side mooring, floatover and floating wind turbines.

The following topics will be covered during the course:

•Modelling marine simulation in a visualised Sima environment

•Modelling of multibody systems

•Flexible force models for complex marine operations

•Environmental loading due to wind, waves and current

• Interaction with the Sesam suite of programs (Sesam HydroD/Wadam)

• Post-processing of results

• Examples of floating wind turbines structures
