The BlueWeek2018 will be held on 28-29-30 May in Rotterdam, under the auspices of the Blue Forum, at the STC-Rotterdam Maritime school and with the support of Rotterdam City and Port of Rotterdam.
This free event, created by the Maritime Research Institute Netherlands MARIN in 2012, aims to support the transition in the field of Ocean renewable energies, zero emission shipping and the development of environmentally friendly, protective and innovative activities at and from the sea. The latest projects will be presented, the recent innovations unveiled and all the necessary actors for this energy revolution, industries, institutions and research, will be able to discuss future projects and create the partnerships required for the completion of the transition.
On Monday the 28th of May a 1-day seminar will be held as part of Blueweek. The seminar brings together industry, universities and research institutes active in ocean energy and aquaculture. The purpose of the day is to share experiences through presentations, panel discussions, Joint Industry Project meetings and general networking. TKI Wind op Zee will present new innovations in offshore maintenance. This year the main focus will be on the synergies between offshore wind and blue life, and how they can work together in a multi use environment.
