GeoSea’s New Jack-Up Vessel to Feature TTS’s Crane

TTS Group ASA has, through its subsidiary TTS NMF GmbH in Hamburg, Germany, secured a new contract for the delivery of one 800 tonne Leg-Encircling Crane.

The crane is for a jack-up vessel, to be built for Belgium-based GeoSea at Uljanik Shipyard in Croatia. The total contract value is approx. 120 MNOK (over EUR 13 million).

Through this contract, TTS group has gained another foothold in the offshore market. The contract is the third in a row for a new, successful TTS design.

Soon after delivering a 900 tonne leg-encircling crane for wind turbine installation work in Q1 2014, TTS got another contract for this design. Now the third delivery is confirmed, marking an important milestone for TTS in the offshore market.

The electro-hydraulic leg-encircling crane is supreme to safe deck space and ideally features high speeds for hoisting, luffing and slewing in each load step.

Delivery of the crane will take place in 2017.
