Vestas has reached a milestone of 200 V236-15.0 MW wind turbines installed offshore, representing 3 GW of installed capacity.
The 200th turbine was installed at Ecowende’s 760 MW Hollandse Kust West VI offshore wind farm in the Dutch North Sea.
Vestas’s first V236-15.0 MW unit went up at EnBW’s He Dreiht offshore wind farm in Germany in April 2025. All 64 He Dreiht turbines were in place in August this year.
The company reached the 100-turbine milestone in June 2026 with the installation progress at the Baltic Power offshore wind farm in Poland, owned by Orlen Group and Northland Power, which will comprise 76 V236-15.0 MW turbines.
At Ecowende’s site in the Netherlands, the first of the project's 52 V236-15.0 MW turbines was installed at the end of May, and the wind farm delivered first power to the Dutch grid in July. The 760 MW offshore wind farm is set for commissioning by the end of 2026.
