Denmark: Ramboll Participates in “City to Harbour” Project

Denmark Ramboll Participates in “City to Harbour” Project

Ramboll is participating in an urban development project “City to Harbour” launched in the Danish offshore capital, Esbjerg.

The project is part of a large, urban renewal plan for Esbjerg, and involves ten distinct projects, which will tie city and harbor closer together over the next ten years, and offer even better conditions to the offshore and energy sector.

A number of activities related to the project will take place from 22 June to 24 September, including an energy exhibition, which features a Ramboll stand. The energy exhibition seeks to inform tourists and citizens about the participants’ deep commitment and involvement in developing the Danish energy sector.

“As a significant player in Esbjerg’s energy sector, we regard it as essential to contribute to a project like this,” says Senior Communications Manager at Ramboll Oil & Gas, Annette E. Lüdeking. “We are one of the major workplaces, and we care about the development of our community. Our projects not only keep our own staff busy, they also yield orders to other companies located in the Esbjerg area. Our most recent project win for Maersk FPSO is a good example of how a contract resonates positively in the community that we are part of.”

The energy exhibition is open to the public, and it is located on the corner of Stormgade and Strandbygade – only a few yards from the Ramboll office on Adgangsvejen.

The exhibition runs from 22 June to 15 September. Opening hours 9:00 – 21:00 all days.
