District and county councilors Angie Smith and Colin Davie have invited residents to attend a public meeting about Triton Knoll offshore wind farm, which will be held at Willoughby Village Hall on June 16 at 10.30 am, reports Lincolnshire news portal.
The main topic of this meeting will be possible onshore implications: 30 kilometers of underground cabling across the area to the substation at Bicker Fen south west of Boston, Lincolnshire.
The meeting will discuss a possibility of running cables along the seabed instead of underground.
