Brave Tern Arrives in Taiwan
Fred. Olsen Windcarrier’s jack-up vessel Brave Tern has arrived in Taiwan to work on the Yunlin offshore wind project.

On 20 April, Brave Tern began its journey from the Port of Esbjerg in Denmark to Taiwan to transport and install turbines at the Yunlin wind farm.
The 640 MW project will feature 80 Siemens Gamesa 8.0-167 DD turbines located some six kilometers off the Taiwanese southwest coast.
After installing the Yunlin wind turbines, Brave Tern will transport and install the 62 MHI Vestas V174-9.5 MW turbines at the Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farms.
