Commencement of the contract will be immediately and has a fixed period of 8 weeks plus options potentially extending the period further.

Stig Remøy, CEO of Olympic Shipping: ”It’s with great pleasure we see that Olympic is a preferred partner within the renewables market. With this contract, and previously concluded contracts, we have secured full utilization of the Olympic Delta for the remainder of this year within the renewable energy market.”

Olympic Delta is an inspection, maintenance and repair ship, equipped with a diesel electric frequency controlled propulsion, an azimuth thruster and a system for dynamic positioning.

The vessel has an 80 tonne AHC crane and a helideck, and can accommodate 80 persons.

Back in April, Olympic Delta went on a 120-day charter within an unnamed renewable energy project.
