SmartBay Ltd has published a video to provide a snap shot of the installation of a subsea power and data cable at the Galway Bay Cabled Ocean Energy Testbed & Observatory.
Featuring interviews with representatives from marine science organisations, the video highlights the significance of the SFI funded cable to Ireland’s marine infrastructure.
The Marine Institute and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) have been working together to promote and develop Ireland’s ocean energy potential along with partners SmartBay Ltd, UCC (MarEI – Marine Renewable Energy Ireland), and Dublin City University.
