BvL, a joint venture between BAM Nelis De Ruiter bv and Gebr. van Leeuwen Boringen B.V, finalized the 2nd and last horizontal directional drilling (HDD) work at the Gemini offshore wind farm site in February.
After the finalisation of the HDD, BvL has been awarded extra scope to assist Van Oord with the pull in of the export cabels into the HDD ducts.
In May 2014, Van Oord awarded an approx. € 12.8 million contract to BvL for the design and construction of two sleeve pipes with a diameter of 500 mm to be installed in the Eastern Wadden Sea.
