Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) has been awarded a contract by ScottishPower Renewables for emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV) services at East Anglia Two and East Anglia Three offshore wind farms.
The contract, which VOS says is its first long-term charter for ERRV services in the offshore wind industry, is worth more than GBP 7 million (around EUR 8 million).

The company will provide its response vessel, VOS Traveller, set to operate out of Lowestoft port, with a 24-strong crew working a 28-day rotation.
VOS Traveller and its crew will be on 24/7 continuous standby and provide safety cover and search and rescue (SAR) support.
At the 1.4 GW East Anglia Three, foundation installation was recently completed, with wind turbine installation under way and expected to be completed this year. Located 69 kilometres off the coast of Suffolk, East Anglia Three is scheduled to become fully operational by the end of 2026.
The 960 MW East Anglia Two will be built some 32 kilometres off the Suffolk coast, where construction is scheduled to start next year.
